Quite a few investors called for more disclosure of brokers whose regulatory address isn’t the same with its real address. Therefore, surveyors were about to have an intuitive view of TradeLink.

According to the regulatory information, the UK licensed company TradeLink was located at 21 Great Winchester Street. The surveyors visited the broker.

According to the regulatory address, the surveyors came to Great Winchester Street and found a building of European style. As was informed, quite a few brokers had an office in the building. The surveyors were about to enter the building to visit the broker.

The surveyors entered the building and did not found TradeLink’s logo on the floor directory downstairs.

The surveyors then inquired a receptionist whether TradeLink had an office in the building or not and were informed that not TradeLink but TradeRisk had an office in the building.

Conclusion

The site investigation by the investigation staff confirmed that the UK licensed broker TradeLink doesn’t exist. The surveyors were informed from a website that the broker’s purported regulation (regulation ID: 546188) by FCA was confirmed to be the misuse, misappropriation or imitation of the license of a legitimate broker. The surveyors reminded investors to choose the broker carefully and pay attention to fund safety.
