Halifax is under bankruptcy process
Danger Australia

Inspection Reason

On November 23rd Halifax suddenly issued a notice freezing all customer accounts and barring depositing and withdrawal. Halifax is now in bankruptcy process, according to its regulatory information. It was too sudden that investors could do nothing but wait for the final results.

The team went further in and took an elevator to the 49th floor, where a sign said Halifax Investment Services was in room 4, L/49.

When the team arrived at room 4, it found several office spaces and staff, but there was no logo of Halifax Investment Services.

Field Interview

The inspection team hope to know more about the company through two employees, but were declined.

Conclusion

The recent Halifax bankruptcy has attracted industry-wide attention.The inspection team visited Halifax’s Australian headquarters right the first time. The surveyors saw that the door of Halifax’s office was closed, and two remaining employees were still working, but no business was going on, and the company logo had been removed.

The fact that Halifax is now in the bankruptcy process is pretty well established. Investors should wait patiently for the outcome.
